Acoustics

Acoustic pollution is a serious problem in big cities and places nearby airports and highways. The RadiaGlass active glazing presents higher acoustic dampening than a conventional glazing thanks to the special laminated glass and to the presence of water flow, which increases the inertia of the glass panel dampening the sound waves even more.

IntelliGlass and the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid are currently studing the theoretical and the experimental vibrations of  RadiaGlass glazing, with the aim of identifying curves of transmission and attenuation of sound.
