The beauty of the RadiaGlass system lies in its being an active glazing that is able to let the visible light go through, and block the solar radiation. IntelliGlass determine the transmittance, reflectance and absorptance of the RadiaGlass glazing.

 

With these objectives in mind IntelliGlass is working with the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Ceramic Institute and the CSIC in the theoretical and experimental study of the spectral behavior of the active glazings. Using reverse engineering techniques we can determine the optical properties of each materials and the whole system. The results confirm the advantages of RadiaGlass glazing: the infrared radiation from the Sun is filtered, and multiple reflections are drastically reduced.
